Advanced Capability
Voice capable warning sirens from Federal Signal allow for more than just lightning alerts to be broadcast. Automatic messages can also be triggered for multiple hazards including severe thunder storms, tornados, high winds, and hail.
Flexible Compatibility
Lightning detection can be used on small speakers such as the Federal Signal Informer 100 (that covers the area of a football field) or on giant voice sirens like the Federal Signal Modulator series (that covers as far as 1 mile). Sound output can be dynamically adjusted based on the type of hazard. Tornado warnings can sound at 100% volume to warn a large area, while lighting alerts can sound at 25% volume to warn the area that the siren is in.
